"Honeymoon"

"Baker's Dozen"

Prezi is very similar to Google Presentations. It let's you do the same the thing as Google Presentations like, inserting pictures, changing fonts, videos, and much more. Prezi is more circular and has very creative templates ( you could also make your own ). It' like a newer fashion but more creative than Powerpoint, Google Presentations, which makes it more exciting and has a creative way of presenting. I would see myself using this website more often when it comes to presentations.

My first Prezi

My second Prezi

Prezi is a similar website to Google Presentations. It enabled me to pick a template, insert pictures, and play with fonts - very much close to Google Presentations. Except I was able to play around with Prezi more since there are many options to choose from. This is a very unique website. I see myself using this again for an assignment that I want to do electronically.

Prezi is a website that lets you make a presentation. There are different sorts of templates to use and they look really awesome. You can make a slide and make it a circle, a bracket, a rectangle, or you can make it invisible. You can also zoom in so you can transition slides so they look like you are zooming in, or zooming out. Prezi also allows you to copy and paste pictures or text into it from Google. Prezi is a good free to use software that you do not need to download and is really efficient.

This is the two sayings I chose:

This is my second saying I chose

In Prezis.com i learned how to turn a normal presentation into a creative presentation. It taught me how to make different types of presentation (so basically like a creative one). Prezi.com can be created from scratch (like the presentation) or you can create your own way in Prezi, you can have a different background instead of just white background.

Prezi is a really cool version of Google Powerpoint. In Prezi you can make a really cool transition slide to slide, basically the prezi starts in a very big picture and when you transition to another slide it zooms in to that slide. So basically its just a cooler version of Google Powerpoint.

Denice's Medieval Prezis (yes more than one)

[insert excuse of a title here]

Prezi is a website that lets you create cool presentations that would otherwise be less engaging and interesting. It has some rather peculiar templates that can be used and modified to your needs. You can use it on your own things if you can handle making something so absurdly incredible, or if you want to horse around. I know I'd definitely use it one day; heck look I used it right here isn't that neat. That willing day has yet to come.

My Medieval Prezis

I have found that prezi  has many things or elements that can enhance your ordinary presentation to a creative presentation. Different templates, and the way it is set up, for example the green prezi, you don't just get a presentation that goes slide over slide, but the way this is set up, it "flows," over the next slide. In general, prezi has a lot to offer to enhance and make your presentation a lot more appealing.

I've learned that prezi is so cool. You can choose some templates you want and you can make your own pattern with your slides. Using prezi is make your life easy. You can use it for presentation, reporting, lesson plans and business matters. You can easily embed it on blogger and you can connect it on a big screen.

Rule of Thumb

Prezi is such an amazing site to use for presentations. And it's much more easier to insert photos like instead of importing it one by one you can just search it and it will give you tons of photos that is free to use or share.

(Don't mind the creepy background music)

In order:

Python-Usually represented as a serpent, he presided over the Delphic oracle. Unfortunately he became enemies with the Olympian deity Apollos who ended up killing him and taking the oracle for himself.

Orthrus-A two-headed dog task with guarding a huge herd of red cattle, he was killed by Hercules who the kept all the cattle as proof of his victory

Ichthyocentaurs-These were a pair of centaurin sea-gods with upper body of a man, lower front of a horse, and the tail of a fish. They were set in the sky as the astronomical constellation Pisces.

Scylla-A monster that lived on one side of a narrow channel of water, opposite its counterpart Charybdis. The two sides of the strait were within an arrow’s range of each other  --- so close that sailors attempting to avoid Charybdis would pass too close to Scylla with disastrous results.

Typhon- Known as the “Father of All Monsters’, Typhon was believed to be the most deadly monster of Greek mythology. His human upper half supposedly reached as high as the stars, and his hands reached east and west. Instead of a human head, a hundred dragon heads erupted from his neck and shoulders.

Ophiotaurus-A creature that was part bull and part serpent. It’s entrails were said to grant the power to defeat the gods to whoever burned them.

Lamia-A beautiful queen of Libya who became a child-eating daemon. In the myth, she is a mistress of the god Zeus, causing Zeus’ jealous wife, Hera, to kill all of Lamia’s children(except for Scylla who is herself is cursed) and transform her into a monster that hunts and devours the children of others.

Graeae-Three sisters who shared one eye and one tooth among them. Not surprisingly they weren’t known for their beauty

Echidna-Half woman half snake, Echidna known as the “Mother of All Monsters” because most of the monsters in Greek mythology were her offspring.

Sphinx-With the haunches of a lion, the wings of a great bird, and the face of a woman, she is mythicised as treacherous and merciless. Those who cannot answer her riddle suffer a fate typical in such mythological stories, as they are killed and eaten by this ravenous monster.

Erinyes-Literally translated to the “the avengers” from Greeks, these were known as the female deities of vengeance.

Charybdis-The daughter of Poseidon and Gaia; Charybdis is a huge bladder of a creature whose face is all mouth and whose arms and legs are flippers.

Sirens-Dangerous and beautiful creatures, they were often portrayed as femme fatales who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island.

Pegasus- Offspring of Poseidon and Medusa, a winged stallion with a pure white color.

The Gift of Fire

Zeus and Prometheus

The first humans had troubles with the gods. The gods thought humans as toys, but some found the humans interesting. One of those gods who thought they were interesting was Prometheus.

Zeus was one of the gods who thought of humans as toys, and was  angry at mankind. He was the one who decided that mankind would not get a very important tool, fire. Without fire, humans would probably not survive, since they would not be able to warm themselves up or cook with it.

Prometheus felt sorry for his human friends, since fire could help them cook stuff and so he stole one of Zeus's lightening bolts and gave it to mankind. That's when man discovered fire.

When Zeus found out, he was extremely mad. He ordered Prometheus to be chained to a rock as a punishment for stealing his lightening bolt and for helping the humans.

After nearly 1000 years, Hercules finally released Prometheus from his chains.

Here is my Ancient Egypt Stop Motion

Description:

According to a myth, Ra ruled on earth as Pharaoh until he became old and weary. The people had lost respect for him and no longer obeyed his laws and so Ra decided that they should be punished. He sent the Eye to teach them a lesson, but then had to get her drunk to prevent her from killing everyone. Once that happened, Ra decided it was time for him to leave the world and give his spot as king to Horus and travel across the sky on Nut’s back (Nut is a Ancient Egyptian goddess and is goddess of sky)

Legend of Osiris

Osiris and his wife, Isis, ruled over Egypt for many years. Set, his brother, grew jealous of his power. Thus, planned to kill Osiris by surprise. He chopped Osiris into 14 pieces and scattered them around Egypt. Isis knew she had to do something to help, so she went around Egypt with her sister and found all the pieces of Osiris. With her magic, she put all the pieces of Osiris back together; being the first mummification. Now, Osiris can rule forever in the afterlife.

how to try different things with the video editing and adding cool effects like something pooping up on the screen, mostly the basics. But i am looking forward to Photoshop and making your own gifs. aka moving picture.

In term 2,we learned how to do an animation on power point to create a Butterfly and Bookmark Kinetic Typography. We also learned how to make power point slides into a movie. This term is mostly about videos so we filmed a video tutorial on how to solve percents and fraction problems. We uploaded all of our videos on YouTube. We also learned how to insert popups and other fun stuff on the videos we made to make it more interesting and presentable. The website that we used to edit our videos is called Popcorn Maker. I can say that term 2 was fun because I, I mean WE, learned a lot of cool and amazing stuff.

In the final term, I want to learn things that I have never learned before like adding voice to a video, making my own website and do edits on pictures. I'm sure that the following terms will be more interesting and we will learn more things.

In term 2, I learned about many things throughout this term. I learned how to use Powerpoint to create a kinetic typography and create a butterfly animation. In Powerpoint, we also learned how to make our slides in a video. Throughout term 2, we mainly focused on creating videos like our percent videos. With our percent videos, we used this website called "Mozilla Popcorn Maker" to insert pop ups and Wikipedia! So I would say, term 2 was great!

In the final term, I would like to learn how to create your own website, and designing it the way you want. In the final term, I would also like to learn how to edit and do other things in the video.

In the final term I want to learn how to edit videos to make like pop ups, somewhat similar to a youtubers's edits. I also want to make a medium difficulty animation just like we did for the butterfly video because it was really fun and i want to do more and also for the kinetic typography, it really turns on my imagination for the animations and the typography when we do it. I also want to create more posters and make it look like a real poster.

In term 2 I learned how to use Powerpoint to create a Kinetic Typography. While we were in Powerpoint, we also learned how to download our slides to YouTube as well as to Blogger. This term was mainly about videos so we learned a lot about uploading videos. Once we made our percent video and uploaded it to YouTube, we then explored Popcorn Maker. There, I learned how to insert a wikipedia and pop-ups! From Popcorn Maker, I also learned how to embed the URL and upload it to Blogger. Overall, term 2 was great and was full of learning!

In the final term I want to learn how to create my own website and maybe personalize it. Also, someone brought the subject of coding. It would be really cool to find out how they make games and make a small game of our own if we get the chance. I would also like to learn more about videos. For example, I want to be able to trim, add pictures, texts, and different effects to make a video more appealing and entertaining.
